Designing and fabricating an injection mould typically takes 15 to 25 business days, depending on part complexity and cavity count. Once the mold is approved, production parts can be shot at rates of thousands of parts per day.
CNC milling is ideal for lower quantities (10 to 1,000 parts) or parts requiring high dimensional tolerances and metallic strength, as it requires zero custom tooling costs. Injection moulding is best for high-volume plastic parts (1,000+ parts) because it offers the lowest per-part cost, despite the upfront tooling investment.
Yes. We specialize in insert moulding (inserting brass threads, screws, or steel components before plastic injection) and overmoulding (moulding a soft elastomer/rubber grip over a rigid plastic substrate).
For plastics (injection moulding), we offer SPI finishes (glossy, matte, textured) and custom painting. For metals (CNC milling), we offer as-machined, bead blasted, anodized (clear or colored), powder coated, and passivated finishes.
